Kast van een Huis

Kasthuizen

More great stuff for kids this morning! “Kast van een Huis” are very special closets for kids. The idea was born when Marie-Louise Reesink was looking for closets for her own children. She couldn't find any that looked nice and was multifunctional at the same time. So she decided to design her own series of closets. And with great scucess!

Kasthuis

Her closets are designed as storage for clothes, toys, books, but you can also store grown-up stuff such as office equipment. The best thing is that the models are inspired by the Amsterdam canalhouses that I love so much. If you really have a lot of stuff to store, you can place several models next to each other you and create a street of closets or a room-divider. Contact Marie-Louise by email or check out the “Kast van een Huis” website to find out more.

I love the closets! Cool shapes and cute colours! We're thinking about a trip to the Netherlands, maybe we'll have to bring the car.

Hi Irene! Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for wishing me well. I feel much better now! And, these closets are amazing, I wish I had one when I was a kid!

What a great idea! How fun is that?!

Wonderful! When I saw the canalhouses in Amsterdam, I fell head over heels in love too...who wouldn't? Great inspiration.

I love this! If I had kids I'd snap one up this minute. I dream of living in those houses in Amsterdam...

I really like those closets too! Think of how fun it would be to have your own little "village" of stuffed animals and dolls hidden in them. Wonderful ideas and plans for so many rooms come to mind where these would fit in just perfectly.

what a great idea! I love the houses in amsterdam (from what ive seen in pics)!

wow, these are great! if only it would be a tiny bit cheaper...(yes, I know I am very Dutch)

oh boy, I want her closets so bad! my little one likes to hide inside the closet lately, I'm sure with this kind of closet, she'll want to live in it! and me, too. :)

Just found your blog, you have some great rooms (and other things) here. I so often don't like rooms profiled no other blogs but I love your great taste - they are all brilliant.
